We rated the date quality of lethal violence against Black Tunisians a 3/3 due to the ample and reliable sources.
Black Tunisians make up about 15 percent of the entire population in Tunisia (Arfaoui , 2017). In addition to facing everyday discrimination (Minority, 2020), Black Tunisians have experienced violence, which included black students being stabbed at school leading to serious injuries and wounds (Arfaoui, 2017). In addition, several civil rights figures have been attacked due to their race. For example, on December 23rd of 2018, a prominent anti-racism campaigner Falikou Coulibaly who was the former President of the Association of Ivorians in Tunisia, was stabbed to death in Tunis at the end of December 2018 (Mzioudet, 2018).
