Much like the Hindu people of Pakistan, violence towards the Christians has been on the rise the last decade as minority groups in Pakistan often seem to be in danger. For example, there have been reports of Christian graves being excavated and vandalized on many different occasions in recent times (Ispahani, 2013). Since the 1980s, discriminatory laws have also been put into place, which often target minority religion groups (Ispahani, 2013).  Accusations made through these laws are often outlandish and result in the death of innocent people who were a part of a minority religious group. There have even been cases of towns being set on fire and Christians being burnt alive during these assaults after being accused of “blasphemy” (Ispahani, 2013). Out of any of the minority groups, the discriminatory laws implemented in the 1980s seemed to affect the Christians the most, as it seems to be a poor excuse for violence against the group (Ispahani, 2013). There is a strong case of ethnocide against the Christians in Pakistan and would rate the information a two, although there are not that many sources.
