There is evidence that Bosnians have experienced forced displacement in Serbia. There is a lot of general information regarding Bosnians during the Bosnian War, but limited information regarding the group being forced away, therefore we have given the information a rating of 2 out 3.

As the fourth largest ethnic group in Serbia, the group can be mostly found residing in southwestern Serbia (Minority Rights, 2015). This region, historically known as Sandzak, experienced the brunt of the Bosnian War. For instance, in 1992-1993, around 75,000 Bosniaks were forced from the region due to intimidation and ethnic cleansing by the Serbs (Minority Rights, 2015). These ethnic Serbs were funded and supported by both the Serbian and Croatian government, who also had desires to remove the Bosnians (Minority Rights, 2015). Additionally, in 1711, Bosniaks departed the region due to converts to Islam being executed (Minority Rights, 2015).  However, this does not seem to be a lot of information or details regarding this specific case.
